The C-PaCTS team met in Kilifi, Kenya, for a curriculum workshop and coastal community research

Representatives from the Chair of Land Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), as well as Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), met their project partners at Pwani University for a workshop which provided an opportunity for the three partner universities to exchange experiences from their recent curriculum revisions, identify best practices, and strengthen collaboration by sharing teaching materials, resources, and expertise across institutions.

Beyond the workshop, the visiting team participated in coastal community research led by Pwani University. Through field visits, they engaged with local communities, initiatives, and organizations working to promote sustainable coastal development, gaining first-hand insights into local challenges and community-driven approaches. These activities reinforced the project's commitment to connecting academic collaboration with practical, place-based learning and research.
