As the project highlights its outputs, doctoral student Michael Engel will give a presentation and tutorial on the GEM project which will be held online on February 14, 2023.

Engel’s talk will be about “The use of AI in GEM” in the morning session. Meanwhile, the tutorial on “How to use GEM ML Framework” will happen in the afternoon session.

The tutorial will be a technical session where Engel will give a detailed discussion on how to use the framework for interaction of PyTorch and eo-learn for machine learning in earth observation at scale. A sample application will also be featured in this session.
