In hybrid format, there were 16 participants, comprising our 13 doctoral and visiting researchers and staff of the Chair of Land Management. The research colloquium featured topics including sponge city concept for consolidated and emerging cities, urban-rural exclusion, compulsory Land acquisition and livelihood restoration, urbanization and land use changes (in new capital city development), urban expansion and migration towards adverse climate and ecological conditions and urban digital twins for climate neutral agenda setting. The colloquium was rounded up with a short discussion on getting involved in teaching, research and project acquisition during the doctoral journey.
