Research interests

My research focuses on large-scale ocean circulation, with a particular interest in the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) and the Subpolar Gyre (SPG). I am currently working on identifying surface-based fingerprints/proxies with longer observational records than direct circulation measurements, in order to better understand how ocean surface variability relates to deep circulation changes. My aim is to improve the detection and interpretation of variability and long-term trends in the North Atlantic.
