Subjects offered by the Institute of Helicopter Technology

The lectures offered by the Institute of Helicopter Technology allow students to gain insight into the physical phenomena of helicopter flight and the interaction of the various subsystems. The dynamics, aerodynamics and flight mechanics of rotorcraft are taught, to enable systems-oriented design approaches that are necessary for the development of state-of-the-art helicopters. Special approaches used in the aviation industry and within systems engineering are covered, allowing for an iterative development process from the preliminary draft to the finished product.
