Description
Systems of Systems (Danger from Near Earth Orbit Asteroids)
Systems Engieneering as a tool for the engineer in producing enterprises or in Service Providers or in research Institutions. The project activities include the generation of systems, which consist of subsystems, these configurations are called systems of systems.
The lecture describes the generic process for the generation of a system of systems and the application of this process to a practical problem, as for example "the Technologies for the trans-border energy supply" or, another Problem "the danger from near earth orbit asteroids". The latter can be organized easier using the resources of the Lehrstuhl für Raumfahrttechnik (3 Excursions).
Industrial work/activities include Orders from the supervisor to investigate a Problem, for example using the knowledge/expertise of colleagues. The result is then a System of Systems. Such a product is usually not the "only best solution" of the Problem, but a systems engineering model for the "decider". Here the Danger from Near Earth Asteroids.
The Objective of the Lecture is to model this System of Systems in a tool, which is free available Software, developed at the Lehrstuhl für Raumfahrttechnik for the EU. This activity can be possibly named "Knowledge Management" (Resources Management)
