Research projects
CuBy - Satellite Network Bavaria
This unique project encompasses the development of a multispectral small satellite Earth observation mission for the state of Bavaria. The payload is a line scanning camera with seven + PAN spectral channels, enabling a multitude of applications in biomonitoring, search and rescue, and research.
Work within this project:
- Development of a camera simulator with high geometric accuracy for arbitrary satellite orbits
- Design of a test stand and procedures for pre-launch camera calibration
- Mission-specific strategies for continuous on-orbit calibration
Aquila - Hallucination-free Mega Resolution
NeRF-inspired super resolution from microsatellite constellations.
