Visit to Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) and DGPF 2026
During 9-24 March, Prabin Gyawali visited the Exploration Department at Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF). During his stay, he ran simulations and experiments on hyperspectral data for his master thesis research on deriving spatio-spectral changes in riverbank geomorphology.
Followed by the stay, he also had the opportunity to present his method and early-results at 46. Wissenschaftlich-Technische Jahrestagung der DGPF (DGPF JT 2026).
Sincere thanks to Dr. Richard Gloaguen, Dr. Sandra Lorenz, Dr. Margret Fuchs, Dr. Sam Thiele, Dr. Moritz Kirsch and the entire team for their warm hospitality and inspiring exchanges. Looking forward to future collaborations!
