“Decoding Landscapes in Motion” was the title of the keynote talk by Katharina Anders given at the 6^th Virtual Geoscience Conference 2025 in Lausanne, Switzerland, followed by a series of interesting research presentations on mapping and monitoring of landscapes and geomorphic processes. Beyond that, the conference program featured sessions on SfM- and LiDAR-based models for geological interpretation, machine learning applied to geological problems, and immersive experience in geoscientific education. The event facilitated exchange among young and experienced researchers across different geoscientific and geodesic disciplines from international universities and companies.
