The International Academic Association on Planning, Law, and Property Rights (PLPR) will hold its 18th annual conference from the 18th until the 22nd of March 2024 in Munich (Germany). The event will be hosted by the Chair of Land Management of the Technical University of Munich. Annual PLPR conferences provide an opportunity to present scholarship covering a broad array of topics residing at the intersection of planning, law, and/or property rights (such as land use regulation and governance, regional and local planning, urban development, etc.).
Senior Students in LMLT presented their master theses
On the 3rd of March, the 2015 intake of the MSc Land Management and Land Tenure Program defended their MSc theses.
Thesis defense at the Chair of Land Management is one of the compulsory requirements for the fulfilment of the requirements for the award of MSc land Management. It is a special occasion for all students involved because it marks the ending of their participation in the MSc program.
The theses defense session was conducted and moderated by the Program Coordinator of the MSc Land Management, Dr. Pamela Duran Diaz. Resident lecturers and supervisors of the chair attended. Also, all presenting students and some of the current student attended the defense session. The presentation sessions comprised of 10 minutes’ presentation of research works by the presenters and 5 minutes of discussion.
The graduation ceremony for this badge of students is scheduled to take place on the 27th March.
