Joana Reuss, M.Sc.

Joana Reuss completed her bachelor's degree in Business Mathematics at the University of Mannheim. After two years as a Data Science and Analytics consultant, she started her master's program in Data Science at the University of Barcelona, which she completed in July 2021. She wrote her master's thesis in the field of Computer Vision. Since September 2021, she has been working as a research associate at the Chair of Remote Sensing Technology at the TUM.

Her research interests lie in the generalisation of AI models in Remote Sensing.

PreTrainAppEO (BMWi/DLR)

The aim of the PreTrainAppEO project is to make the use of AI in the field of Earth observation and remote sensing more attractive and efficient by developing a methodology that uses the approach of pre-trained AI models to achieve generalisability to different standard applications in this field.
