The LCC congratulates Dr.-Ing. Dennis Bublitz on his successful doctorate. His dissertation is entitled “A material model for the compaction process simulation of carbon fibre preforms” and examines the compaction of textiles in the manufacturing process as well as its influence on the impregnation, especially the "race tracking" in radii. Thanks Dennis for coupling the long-standing topic of "preforming and impregnation in the RTM process", further developing its understanding and anchoring it at the chair. Good luck with your research, hopefully for a long time to come at the LCC.
