How can we as the TUM Chair of Carbon Composites contribute to sustainability in the composite world? At the LCC, we are confronting this question by working in close cooperation with our partners from research and industry on solutions for:
• Substitution of conventional materials by bio-based fibre matrix systems (e.g. BMBF project GreenCarbon)
• Recycling routes to move towards circular composites (e.g. ZIM project ReUselage)
• Resource efficient composite production (e.g. BMWi LuFo project InLineCon)
• Life Cycle Assessment for sustainable composite products (e.g. BMWi TTP LB project Cooperate)
