This year, the Cluster New Materials awarded M. Sc. Christian Heckel, a graduate from LCC, the “Nachwuchspreis Neue Werkstoffe 2016” for his excellent Master’s Thesis within the frame of the 15th Symposium “Material Innovativ” held on 23rd February 2016 in Würzburg. The Master’s Thesis was carried out at SGL Group in Meitingen und dealt with “Investigation of modified and thermally stressed thermoplastic matrix materials with influences on mechanical composite properties”. The successful awardee can be seen in the picture together with his two supervisors, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Patrik-Vincent Brudzinksi (left) from SGL Group und Dipl.-Ing. Veronika Radlmaier from LCC.
