From March 28 to 29, 2022, the conference "Münchner GI-Runde 2022", jointly organized by the Round Table GIS e.V. and the Chair of Geoinformatics, took place in an online format. About 200 participants from science, industry and public administration took the opportunity to exchange ideas on current topics in geoinformatics in five scientific forums and three practical forums.
The Chair of Geoinformatics contributed to the success of the conference with a presentation by Thomas Kolbe in the scientific forum "Research Data Infrastructures", the participation of Thomas Kolbe and Andreas Donaubauer in the program committee, and the organizational and technical support of the event by Tanja Nyc and Roland Dietrich.
The "Münchner GI-Runde 2023" is scheduled for March 20 and 21, 2023.
