The Bavarian Agency for Surveying and Geoinformation (Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung) is currently capturing data on all buildings in Bavaria with standardized roof types - in the so called level of detailed 2. Before the initial data capture of 8 million 3D building models will be accomplished, this research project shall investigate how the Bavarian data set can be transformed into a European data structure - the INSPIRE theme "Building".
